Cookie policy
This release uses browser storage for necessary account and interface functions. The public layout does not load advertising, analytics or session-replay scripts.

Necessary storage
When you sign in, authentication cookies maintain your session and protect the account. The language setting and interface preferences may also be remembered. These functions differ from advertising profiles. Clearing authentication cookies signs you out; it does not delete saved drafts in your account.
Application text
The free writing checker keeps text in the current page state. It does not save that text in cookies or local storage. Closing or reloading the page clears that unsaved text. Signed-in embedded editors can automatically save drafts to the server; manual saving and review requests also save relevant text. Draft handoff and recovery can temporarily keep application text in sessionStorage. These are different from the standalone free checker. AI requests send the relevant content when you request review.
Third-party services
A login provider or payment provider may use its own necessary cookies when you visit its service. Its notice applies to that service. If optional analytics or advertising is introduced later, this notice and consent controls must be updated before those optional tools begin loading.
Session storage and draft recovery
The tool landing pages and writing workspace can store temporary draft handoff or recovery data in sessionStorage for the current browser tab, with a 30-minute validity check. Related request identifiers help recover interrupted reviews. Expiry means the application stops accepting the recovery data; it is not a guarantee that the browser physically deletes every byte at that exact time. Closing the tab or clearing site data generally removes session data, though browser restore features can retain it. Keep your own secure copy and use a private device. Do not confuse these temporary drafts with server-saved versions or with the standalone free checker, which uses page memory.
Preferences and necessary account cookies
Browser storage may remember theme and language preferences. Authentication cookies support sessions; OAuth login can use temporary state or account-linking information to complete sign-in securely. Cookie names, host prefixes and lifetimes can differ by the authentication configuration and browser. You can inspect the actual cookies using browser site-data controls. We do not describe all storage as strictly necessary merely because a library supplies it; optional storage must be assessed separately before it is introduced.
Limits and responsibility
Blocking or deleting necessary storage may sign you out, reset preferences or discard unsaved local work. Clearing cookies is not a refund request, account deletion or cancellation of automatic renewal. Third-party login and checkout pages operate their own storage under their notices. We cannot control every browser setting or independent provider action, but remain responsible for the storage and consent obligations that apply to our own service. This policy is a disclosure, not blanket consent to tracking or a waiver of privacy rights.
Managing storage
Use your browser’s site-data controls to inspect or clear cookies. Blocking necessary authentication storage can prevent sign-in. You can continue browsing public preparation guidance and using the local character checker without an account.
