These terms describe the independent application preparation service provided through ImperialApply. Read them with the privacy and refund policies before purchasing.

What the tools provide
The writing workspace separates Career planning from the two Personal statement answers. Interview preparation uses a question bank: five public categories and the specialist bank of one selected programme. Basic costs USD29.99 per month with 300 credits; Pro costs USD49.99 per month with 600 credits. Both include writing and interview access for one selected programme and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Cancel renewal in Account before the next billing date; paid access continues to the end of the current billing period. Included credits expire at the end of that paid period and do not roll over. Single-answer content and language review costs 15 credits and the three-answer consistency check costs 30 credits; a six-question mock costs 60 and includes one saved content-assessment report based on confirmed transcripts and the submitted writing. Failed assessment generation can be retried without a separate charge. Included credits expire with their package. An additional 200-credit pack costs USD20 as a one-time purchase for active Basic or Pro subscribers, expires after 365 days, and does not extend feature access. Credits require the corresponding active programme entitlement and are spent in earliest-expiry order. Shared use may reduce the number of available mocks. Failed AI output returns reserved credits; repeated requests do not incur a second charge. Device checks and bank browsing are free. Historical personal answers remain available after expiry. Purchase details identify availability and total price before payment. A shared finance bank does not give access to every finance programme.

This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Imperial College London. Materials are preparation resources, not an official question bank, assessment invitation or admissions decision. Check your own programme’s application portal and invitation. Access to tools does not guarantee an interview, admission, scholarship, grade or employment.
Your application and AI assistance
You remain responsible for the truthfulness and final wording of your application and for following the institution’s rules on assistance. Supply your own experiences, verify factual claims and review generated suggestions. Fictional reference answers demonstrate structure; do not submit their invented experiences as your own. We do not submit applications on your behalf.
Account and permitted use
Keep access credentials private and use your own account. You may use the tools and examples for your personal preparation. Do not redistribute the paid library, resell access, automate bulk extraction, interfere with the service or upload content you are not permitted to use. You retain ownership of your original application content; we process it to provide the functions you request.
Access and changes
A purchase covers the features and duration shown at checkout. Any renewal arrangement must be stated before purchase; do not infer a subscription from an access expiry date. We may suspend access for a substantiated security incident or breach and provide a way to resolve an error. Material reductions to purchased access are subject to applicable consumer rights and the refund policy.
Responsibility and consumer rights
AI suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate and availability can be affected by service interruptions. We will not exclude liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Report an access or billing problem through support so that it can be investigated. Mandatory consumer protections applicable to you remain in effect.
Nature and limits of the assessments
ImperialApply provides automated writing checks, structural and language suggestions, cross-answer consistency checks, question-bank practice and simulated interviews. It is a preparation tool, not a university admissions office, professional admissions representative or human editorial service unless expressly offered. Reports and numerical scores are practice feedback, not official marks, validated predictions or certifications of factual accuracy. Results can vary between runs. Transcription can omit or misrecognise speech, and AI can give incorrect, incomplete, biased or unsuitable advice. Review the transcript and every proposed change against your actual experiences and the current application instructions. The system does not guarantee that an application meets institutional AI rules, passes an AI detector, wins admission or improves an outcome.
Third-party dependencies and service availability
AI review requires sharing the relevant input with the third parties identified in the privacy policy. Authentication, payment processing, hosting and transcription also depend on third-party services. Provider outages, network problems, browser restrictions or account limits can delay or prevent a feature. We do not guarantee continuous availability, a fixed response time or permanent availability of a particular model. We remain responsible for obligations that law places on us and will investigate paid-service failures; referring to an external provider is not a blanket exclusion of responsibility. Keep your own copy of important work and allow sufficient time before an application deadline.
Subscriptions, cancellation and unused credits
Monthly plans renew at the price disclosed for that subscription until renewal is cancelled. Cancel through Account before the next billing date. A cancellation request stops future renewal; it is not automatically a refund request and does not reverse an already paid invoice. Paid access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Monthly credits expire with that period; additional credits expire 365 days after purchase and still require active feature access to use. No cash value, transfer, rollover or extension is included unless expressly offered. Deleting material, not logging in, changing your application plans or being rejected by a university does not cancel renewal or extend an expiry date. Refund requests are governed by the separate refund policy and mandatory law.
Rights in content and permitted licence
You retain rights in your original inputs. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, transmit to relevant processors, analyse and display those inputs for requested features, support, security and legal compliance as described in the privacy policy. This is not an ownership transfer or permission to publish your essay. Our interface, question organisation, teaching materials and reference explanations may be used for your own preparation during the applicable access period. Do not copy or distribute the paid library, share accounts, resell reports as our service, evade credit controls or scrape the service. AI output may resemble other output and may not qualify for exclusive intellectual-property protection.
Suspension, misuse and disputes
We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate unauthorised access, payment fraud, harmful uploads, credit manipulation or a material breach. Restrictions will be proportionate to the issue; where practicable we will explain the reason and a way to challenge an error, unless doing so would compromise security or legal duties. We do not automatically forfeit every paid right simply because a complaint or dispute is raised. You are responsible for losses directly caused by your unlawful misuse to the extent permitted by applicable law, not for matters outside your control or our own fault.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for admissions decisions, lost application opportunities or business losses caused by relying on an unverified AI suggestion, submitting false information, disregarding application instructions or failing to retain your own copy, except where our breach legally makes us responsible. For liabilities that may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not exclude fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory consumer remedies, or any other liability or data-protection right that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing excuses our failure to exercise legally required care and skill.
Applicable law and fair enforcement
Mandatory protections of the country whose consumer or privacy law applies to you remain available. These terms do not impose an invented governing jurisdiction or deprive you of a court or regulator you are legally entitled to use. If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the lawful extent and the remaining provisions continue where possible. Material changes apply prospectively with appropriate notice and do not silently reduce rights attached to earlier purchases.
