Find application support for writing, programme access and privacy. Start with the relevant check below so you can keep your work safe while resolving the issue.
Common ImperialApply support questions
Application support for a draft that will not save
First export a copy. Check every field: Career planning has a 1,750-character limit and each PS answer has a 3,500-character limit. If another window changed the saved version, reload only after preserving your current text. A connection error does not mean your latest text was saved.
Application support for unavailable AI assistance
AI writing needs a configured service and valid access for the selected programme. Check your account’s access details. A single check combines content review and language suggestions for 15 credits; a three-answer consistency check costs 30. Guides are free. Accept changes individually, then save. You can still edit and export when AI is unavailable. A request for facts asks you to supply missing content.
Application support for the wrong programme
Your bank entitlement covers one selected programme and all five public categories. It does not unlock all thirteen specialist contexts. Check the programme displayed in your account before asking support to investigate a mismatch.
Application support for six-question practice
Complete four common spoken questions, one specialist question and one writing task before reviewing your answers. Camera preview is optional and no video is recorded. With consent, temporary audio is transcribed; original timings support delivery indicators. Review the transcripts after all six questions, then request your included content assessment.
Application support for privacy requests
Use Account & privacy to export or delete saved preparation data. Do not send essays, passport details, passwords or full card numbers in a support message. Include an order reference only when the issue concerns a purchase.
Contact application support
Tell us which page or feature you were using, what you expected and what happened. Include the approximate time and any visible error message. Application support does not need your full application to investigate a technical problem.

ImperialApply help: check saved drafts before seeking help
When saved drafts look out of date, compare the selected programme and question before editing again. Export your current text, then check account access. Application support can help identify a saving problem; saved drafts should never be assumed to include changes made after the last successful save.
ImperialApply help: check microphone permissions
Use ImperialApply help if spoken practice cannot access your microphone. Inspect the browser permission and selected input device, then try a short recording before beginning a full practice set. With ImperialApply help, distinguish an absent recording from an inaccurate transcript: these need different checks, and rewording an answer will not restore microphone access.
ImperialApply help: identify the affected task
Start with ImperialApply help by identifying the action that failed: opening a workspace, saving an answer, requesting feedback or starting practice. Record the selected programme and the visible message. Use ImperialApply help for that particular action so that troubleshooting begins with what happened, rather than an assumption about the cause.
ImperialApply help: preserve text before refreshing
Before following ImperialApply help for an unexpected page state, copy any unsaved answer into a private document. A visible edit may be newer than the saved version. Return to ImperialApply help after keeping that copy; refreshing, changing accounts or closing a tab should not be your first attempt to recover important work.
ImperialApply help: find the correct saved answer
Use ImperialApply help to distinguish the programme selector from the question tabs. Career planning and the two PS answers occupy different fields. When using ImperialApply help for missing text, check both selections and the last successful save. An empty field in another programme does not establish that an earlier answer was deleted.
ImperialApply help: resolve a version conflict
For a version conflict, ImperialApply help recommends preserving your current edits before comparing the stored answer. Another tab or device may have saved a newer version. Follow ImperialApply help by choosing the text you want to retain and reconciling useful changes; repeatedly pressing save without comparing versions can obscure the original problem.
ImperialApply help: separate feedback from saved changes
Read ImperialApply help when an AI suggestion appears in feedback but your draft still contains the original sentence. Review suggestions individually and save the changes you accept. With ImperialApply help, distinguish advice, accepted edits and a successfully saved version. A completed assessment does not mean every proposed change has become your answer.
ImperialApply help: understand the three-answer check
Consult ImperialApply help when the joint-check button is unavailable. Check that Career planning and both PS fields contain drafts, then inspect any access or credit message. Use ImperialApply help to resolve the displayed condition. The joint check compares the current answers for consistency; it cannot establish that a repeated claim is true.
ImperialApply help: check programme access and credits
For access questions, ImperialApply help starts with the programme and features shown in your account. A positive credit balance alone does not establish writing or interview access for every subject. Use ImperialApply help to compare the selected programme with the purchased scope and expiry before treating a disabled action as a technical fault.
ImperialApply help: investigate an uncertain payment
Use ImperialApply help after checking the order status when checkout does not produce the expected access. Keep the order reference, approximate time and selected offer. For ImperialApply help enquiries, describe the discrepancy without sending full card details. A redirect is not payment confirmation, and another purchase should not be used to test an uncertain order.
ImperialApply help: check text length and transcripts
For character counts, ImperialApply help directs you to the selected field and its actual limit, including spaces and line breaks. For interview feedback, inspect the transcript when a quotation looks wrong. Use ImperialApply help to distinguish an input problem from a review problem; feedback based on incorrect text needs that input checked first.
ImperialApply help: send a useful support description
When contacting support through ImperialApply help, explain the expected result, actual result and steps that reproduce the issue. Include an order reference only when relevant. Apply ImperialApply help with privacy in mind: remove private essay text and unrelated personal information from screenshots. Preserve your own copy of any work before using account deletion controls.
