1 · Evidence notes
English sample notes: separate observed work, future intentions and missing evidence. The situation is invented for teaching.
- Humanities student; coordinated a student event with limited volunteers.
- Reduced the programme after comparing tasks with available hours.
- Interested in operations graduate roles; has not managed paid employees.
- Preparation and fallback plan: I would look for a graduate role that includes observing a process, speaking to the people doing the work and following an improvement through implementation. Before recruitment, I plan to turn the event plan into a short account of the capacity problem and the choice we made. I would seek feedback on whether the reasoning is clear to someone outside the organisation. A project-support role could also build relevant experience if an operations scheme is unavailable. I would assess the learning and responsibility on offer rather than choose a title that sounds closest to management.
- Progress check: I would judge my progress by whether I can explain a constraint, agree an action and follow its consequences, not by how many projects I join.
- Planning detail: reasonable additions competed for the same volunteer hours. Mapped overlaps and separated promised activities from desirable additions. Could facilitate the choice but lacked confidence comparing budget trade-offs.
