1 · Evidence notes
English sample notes: separate observed work, future intentions and missing evidence. The situation is invented for teaching.
- Receivables exercise prompted questions about earnings quality.
- Student rewrote a group report so non-accounting teammates could follow profit versus cash.
- Verified school connection: Accounting. Intended use, not a promise of a particular placement or outcome. See the linked official source.
- Answer allocation: explain the learning gap here; keep the detailed correction/conflict episode for the values answer, and the job-search sequence for career planning.
- Analytical detail: owned the receivables schedule. A peer asked whether slower payment implied an accounting error; it did not establish that. Revised the report to separate an observed movement, possible explanation and information still needed.
- Contribution evidence: ask peers to bring a confusing public-report passage, state the business question first and explain the figures back in plain language. The student learned from a non-accounting teammate rather than only teaching them.
